The final result...looks like he enjoyed himself.
To explain the picture below: we were trying to feed Conner lunch but he was apparently too tired. Everytime he opened his mouth to take a bite his eyes would close. Then Reed or Alan would yell "Peek a boo" or "Hey!" and he would open his eyes again and give them a big smile. Well, that worked for a while but then he just started to smile, without opening his eyes. He looked like he was sound asleep and Alan would yell "Peek a boo" and he would get this silly smile on his face for a second, but he wouldn't open his eyes.
ps. Don't worry we haven't stopped taking pictures of Alan. The next post will be dedicated to Alan.

Ha ha, thanks for the comment. I thought I'd tell you the answer here....since things are still in the works. We are planning on moving to Magrath in the near future. We were planning on building on the farm out there (Richard's family's farm), but think we will do that in the next 5-10yrs. Instead we found a lot in town and are moving in a modular home (not a trailer!) onto a basement, that we will have built. It sounds crazy but there's a modular home company going out of business and we can get them for a steal of a deal. We will be able to put one on a basement, plus we'll add a garage to it for less than buying a home in Magrath. Plus this way we'll get a bigger home. So hopefully this all makes sense. I didn't want to put it in my blog yet till it is a for sure thing. We are still figuring things out and negotiating prices. But it should work it. We'll find out. Sorry for the super long comment.
