All about Alan

Here is a quick look at our newest 7-year-old:
Alan is usually a happy, silly, funny boy:
Alan does well in school.  His teacher said that Alan is good at helping kids that are struggling with the lessons.  His teacher said that he doesn't hear arguments and fights from the group that has Alan in it.  He does well academically too.  Below Alan got a citizenship award and a honor roll award:

Alan LOVES to play in the snow.  He still enjoys shovelling our sidewalk and he loves to build things in the snow.  In the pictures below we had our friends Alex and Josh over to play.  The boys built 2 snow forts and then had a snowball fight - the 6 years olds against the 3 and 4 year olds (I was surprised at how well the younger ones held their own.)

My 3 boys playing together:
Alan is a great bathroom cleaner.  He can clean our downstairs bathroom with very little supervision and do a spectacular job!
Alan can be so silly sometimes.  It can be pretty funny and sometimes frustrating depending on when and where he is being silly.  Here he is being silly when I tried to get a picture of him and his friend Alex:

Alan turns 7!

Alan turned 7 in January so we had a family party.  We made a portal of power cake (from the skylanders game).  It turned out great!

I realized I am missing pictures of Alan blowing out his candles so I need pictures from grandmas and grandpas!  Grandma and Grandpa Pitcher and Bassett were there to celebrate:

Alan got a few Skylanders as presents:

Thank you hug for Conner:
Grandma and Grandpa B. gave Alan a paint by number activity:

Of course when Conner and Micah saw Alan painting they wanted in on the action.  We got out our kid's paints and let them paint their own pictures:
We got Alan a new bike for his birthday, since his old one was way too small:
He's ready to go:
Aww, Brooklyn and Grandma B. snuggling:
Happy Birthday Alan!
