Random October pictures

Reed met a guy through work who invited us to come and tour his property.  He has many beautiful buildings.

Dad was in charge of breakfast and he made some fun memories.  He made one giant pancake on our griddle, decorated it with chocolate chips to make it look like a snowman, put it on a big cutting board and told the kids to dig in.  Everyone ate off the cutting board and thought it was the greatest thing ever.  Getting ready to dig in:

October Trip

In October we headed north to visit Grandma and Grandpa Pitcher.  While we were there we went to the temple and then walked with the kids around the outside of the temple. 

There is this perfect bench for taking pictures.  Micah did not want his picture taken:

Then we went to Waterton for a fun afternoon.  For early October, the weather was very nice.  Brooklyn and Reed, looking at the water below:

We decided to do a short hike so we hiked to Crandell Lake.  When we got there Reed and Alan decided to go and explore around the lake.  We could see a building on the other side of the lake and they wanted to know what it was (it was a picnic shelter).  That red and blue dot in the middle of the picture are Reed and Alan:

September Trip

In September we took a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bassett.  We worked on replacing the fascia on their house:

We also took the kids to the temple to look around.  The gates were locked so we couldn't get up close but we had fun walking around on the sidewalk.  We tried to take a family picture by the flower beds but Brooklyn didn't want anything to do with a family picture:

She was happy enough to take a picture by herself:

It was fun to visit!

Our house came with a hot tub.  We fooled around with it for a while and finally got it up and running and the chemicals all right.  We were pretty excited to try it out:
