The boys making gingerbread houses with Grandma P. They came to visit and Reed and I tried to finish our Christmas shopping up:
At the beginning of December Reed did the Polar Bear plunge to help raise money for Special Olympics. Here is the awesome outfit that his team wore:
The temperature was right around freezing that night and people could buy bags of ice to lower the temperature of the water. I think the water temp ended up at 36 degrees F. I took the kids to watch. It was pretty crazy to try to keep all of them close to me in the huge crowd and we couldn't get closer to the pool so I just took pictures of the screen that televised everything. Here is Reed standing at the edge of the pool, getting ready to jump in:
And the jump:
Reed said it wasn't as bad as he was expecting. They had a hot tub for them to climb in after their jump and then they got changed.
A random picture of Brooklyn at 5 months:
In the middle of December we had our ward Christmas party. We dressed our kids up in their new Sunday outfits for it and tried to take pictures before we went.
Here is a nice one of Micah and Conner:
And here's one that shows more of reality, especially when trying to get pictures of the kids:
Trying to get a picture of our 3 handsome boys:
This was the first time that I tried putting Brooklyn's hair in pony tail:
Our 4 kiddos:
I think we are about done with pictures:
The kids acted out the Nativity. Alan was a sheep and Conner wanted nothing to do with it so he stayed at our table:
Santa made an appearance at the end. Conner and Santa:
Alan and Santa:
Micah and Santa. None of the boys were shy around Santa this year:
We got a real tree this year. We had fun decorating it:
Micah put a couple of ornaments on and then he started taking them off again. The boys were pretty excited to help me water the tree everyday:
